About Me
Hello! Welcome to my blog! I am so happy that you stopped by. My name is Melanie and I am a middle aged homeschoolg mama to two beautiful children. Super Stuffy, my son, is 12, and my daughter, Bear Bear, is 10. My childhood dream was to be a teacher, and I taught for 10 1/2 years in several small Christian schools. When I grew up, my grown up dream was to be a homeschooling mama. My dream came true when Super Stuffy was five months old.
What Can you Learn from Me?
In my blog I talk about my faith, my family, my homeschooling, and the things that I have learned in being a teacher and a parent. I have over 25 years of experience working with children through daycare, Sunday School, teaching in the classroom, and teaching my own children. I’m not an expert at parenting, homeschooling, or teaching, but when you come to my blog you will find stories of my journey. I hope that my stories will give you encouragement and hope for yours. I keep on learning and growing, and I know that you do too. I believe that when people walk together the journey becomes a little bit easier. My story
I like nothing more than sitting down with a friend with some coffee (cappucino) and discussing our parenting and homeschooling victories and struggles.
